What does this mean for you, my faithful viewers? Well, no word on what my computer situation. I'll have to buy a new computer for myself, since the one I use now is both mine and my brother's, and he's not allowing me to take it. This means no Pop Arena updates for a while. I may get some 7th Level articles in if I can get access to my cousin's or the library's computer, but I won't be able to display the updates on the main page. I will announce them here, so keep your eyes peeled. I do plan to start a new running feature at the beginning of 2006 on the 7th Level, so keep an eye open for that too. If things go right, I'll end up with a computer by mid-December, but there just isn't any guarantee. If you're stuck up for updates, I suggest looking at the sites on my Link page. I recommend Scary-Crayon in particular. So, this is Greg Stevens, writer of Pop Arena and The 7th Level, signing off. I'll see you all on those hot California beaches! |

| Mars November 10, 2005 10:45 PM PST Well, that's just annoying. I've always thought that part of the charm of Pop Arena is that it comes from Nowhereville, USA. California isn't nowhere. I realize you couldn't stay in Orofino forever without going insane, but I would have liked a few more lengthy essays on incredibly boring events. Anyway, hope ya read this and remember to check out my own site, where I am currently running an interview that puts "Burger King Girl" to shame. You oughta like it! | ||
| Greg November 11, 2005 01:26 PM PST Yeah, I have been reading it. Great stuff. | ||
| MJL November 19, 2005 05:54 PM PST Nowheretown, USA? Orfino? Orfino is the greatest town in the universe! Oh, Greg, we talked about the shutdown of the studios YCDTOT was produced in some time ago. As of October 3, 2005, they've dropped the CJOH name, although those are still their legal call letters (unlike American stations, Canadian stations do not tend to show their call letters anymore). They just call it CTV now, like every other station owned by CTV across Canada. Just the next step towards the end of that once great television station in Ottawa. I predict in another 10 years they won't even have local news, CTV will just be a national service entirely run from Toronto. | ||
| Necia November 24, 2005 08:54 PM PST I found your site a few months ago while I was surfing the net for 80's toys. I love all your articles...especially the one where you found the really old Koolaid. I hope you keep it up! | ||
