Entry: Greg's Writing Life Sunday, July 23, 2006

Yes, I know. It's been, what, months. I have a huge collection of reasons I've taken so long to update that I won't pester you with, let me just assure you there were reasons and I wasn't just being a lazy ass. With that said, I present one of my biggest Pop Arena projects to date: Greg's Writing Life, a collection of observations I've made over the years as an Entertainment (E/N) Site Writer. I spent a lot of time and effort on this, and I'm very interested in what you think.

And don't worry, those of you who prefer you Pop Arena without angst, we'll be returning to our regular theme of articles soon enough. Here's what we got planned for the 2nd half of 2006.

-The X-Men movie you didn't see.
-More Fairfield site seeing, including old style arcades, jelly bean factories and water parks.
-Pee-Wee Herman
-My kid sister.
-My super secret thousand dollar project which really isn't an article but whatever.
-Commercials, magazines, and other what-have-yous.

In the meantime, please, read Greg's Writing Life. You can get to it either by clicking the image above or clicking HERE!

I thought it was pretty insightful, and I was amused and entertained. How creative to use Waking Life and talk about e/n sites... you really have spent a lot of time thinking about the various approaches to these sites, I see. You put a lot of thought into it, and some of your observations were so dead on I was sitting there reading & cracking up (Maddox... oh, my... he's actually coming to my town in 2 days for a booksigning... if it were ANYONE else from your article, I'd go...)

Nice work, Greg.

Wow, uh.... not sure what to think of that one :)

Not sure you got the "voice" or style of everyone on here, but as far as content goes, that's probably, more or less, what I would have told you had you actually asked me, so good job.
